The Festival of Green and Landscape in Rome is an event that celebrates gardens and green spaces. It started thirteen years ago with the idea that Rome, like other big cities, deserved its own festival dedicated to landscapes. The festival is held in a special garden at the Auditorium. What They Do: Celebrate Gardens: They organize events to showcase different types of gardens and landscape designs. Involve the Public: People are invited to participate and enjoy the beauty and creativity of the gardens. Promote Green Ideas: They encourage thinking about how gardens and green spaces can help solve modern problems, like pollution and climate change. Educate: They teach people about gardening, ecology, and how to take care of nature. This includes fun activities for kids. Innovate: They explore new ideas and methods for creating and maintaining green spaces in cities. Connect People: They bring together experts like gardeners, architects, and scientists to share knowledge and find ways to make cities greener and healthier. Main Goals: Raise Awareness: Show how important green spaces are for our well-being and the environment. Inspire Action: Encourage people to create and care for gardens, even in urban areas. Foster Community: Build a community of people who care about nature and want to make a positive impact. In simple terms, the festival is all about making our cities greener and better places to live, by learning from gardens and nature.

The jury decided to award the Fasten project by Linee Minime produced by The Community Builders Project for its originality. TCBP creates urban regeneration projects with young people under 35, starting from the study of the city and creating stable and long-lasting urban design projects in the Roman suburbs. Volunteers are involved in every phase: the design, construction and implementation phases. TCBP is currently completing Torrimpietra builders, its first project. Fasten is the model of a technological laboratory for testing and trialling new materials and technical solutions for public spaces. It is networked with large investors involved in philanthropic projects and identifies public areas to be regenerated according to criteria of real use, visibility and socio-cultural interest. The jury is convinced that young people need different stimuli than those currently offered by the public spaces of the Roman suburbs, quality spaces in which they can recognize themselves and dedicate themselves to outdoor activities, music, sports, free activities and ... gardening. This project highlights the importance of a quality urban space that contributes to arousing the pride and love of citizens for their territory. And we wanted to vote for it.
